Dishonest Rightwing Omits Davis Traveled Four Times on rightwing Reverend Moon's dime, the cult leader owner of the Washington Times. So nothing wrong with traveling on the rightwing special interest's dime, only a leftwing org.

In the meantime: this is interesting. Blogger Archpundit has discovered a report listing a remarkable number of trips Davis took, sponsored by Rev. Moon's front groups. These include

The Pure Love Alliance ($1,638, in 2000)
The Family Federation for World Peace ($1,650, 2001)
The Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace ($430.68, 2002)
The IIFWP, yet again ($790, 2003)

Unlike Curt Weldon (R-Pennsylvania), who went to a Moon event in Korea, however, he doesn't seem to have traveled to other countries on Moon's behalf. Weldon's journeys are not listed in the report. Davis recently said through a spokesman that he's severed ties with Moon's groups in the wake of the "Crown of Peace" debacle.
