8/25/06 Update
The Nasdaq Biotech Index finished the week almost exactly where it began, closing down -6.60% YTD (vs. down -6.67% YTD for the NBI on its 8/18/06 close). The 40 Charity Portfolios' median performed a bit better than the NBI for the week, and it's now down -7.54% YTD (vs. -8.94% YTD at the prior week's close). As was the case a week ago, 10 of the 40 Charity Portfolios are in the black YTD and 16 of the 40 portfolios are outperforming the NBI.
RKRW is still in first place (up 31.9% YTD), with CYRAN (up 17.2%) a distant second.
