I did a good thing this month. A very nice kid I know was going to enlist in the service. Name's Ryan, and he's a big dude. He was buying their shit. He was going in for what turns out to be 8 years. Four years active, four years inactive. He's like a son to me in a way. He was told what a waltz it would be, and he'd get a big-assed signing bonus. The mofo's were giving him that line of shit we all here know about. I pictured the fucking misery he was going to go through. I changed his mind, and I did it rationally and effectually. I started by implanting the simple facts about what he was going to experience. About one hour ago he told me he had changed his mind, and that he had a better job coming soon also. Am I one proud son of a bitch? Fucking A Tweety. Now is our time to educate our friends and neighbors to vote Democrat in 70 days. Now is our time to take what we've learned here and Pass It Forward.
