I agree, COT reports are next to worthless. 1. The information is one week old. Damn, these guys flip on a dime things can change in one day. 2. The commercials use futures to hedge. 3. The trader categories are monkeyed with to change how the report looks from time to time. Its the same deal as the CPI, the Consumer Sentiment report, the Jobs report, the oil inventories, etc etc. Its all rubbish. BS propaganda to move the markets. Criminal activity. period anyone that trades on COT reports is wasting their time and I bet there isnt one person that can tell you they make money regularly by using last weeks COT report. They are BSing too if they claim they are imo. might as well use Astrology, better chances with that sd
