In Shorty's world, anyone who doesn't track 100% is a liberal. And the punishment for that sin is infinite. In addition, history and reality is infinitely malleable to fit idealogy, we are talking about someone who truly believes that the isolationists between the world wars were liberals. Oh yeah, changing your mind in the face of evidence to the contrary is sign of a weak mind, instead of the opposite.
