Some movies are uplifting, even though they deal with tragic material- like Hotel Rwanda, for example. Other movies deal with tragic material but focus on the tragedy, rather than on the small rays of hope within the tragedy. I think they are all art- but it's hard to call any of it "entertainment". I think these movies are instructive, but I don't find any of them much "fun" to watch.
