Thanks for confirming that, Jochen. Your sunset picture didn't seem to have the tell-tale "circles" that mirror lenses create of specular highlights. I didn't mention it at the time because I don't remember seeing the "circles" on anything other than reflected light, and don't remember if they are created when taking pictures of direct light. I don't know enough about light or physics to know if taking a pic of reflected light is different from taking a pic of direct light.

Do you know if that lens comes with a Minolta mount?
