Great shots, Mannie.
Was the first shot in the grain growing district south of The Dalles around Dufur, or were you even further east than that? You posted a shot from that area awhile back. Don't you just love those rolling grain fields around there at this time of the year when everything is golden? To me, the wind sounds really amazing as it blows over those fields. Something a little haunting about it -- can't quite describe it, but I guess it reminds me of the soundtrack to documentary movies about the prairie dustbowl era, etc... (-:

And the second one. Was that somewhere across the Gorge from The Dalles?
