We have never been backers of a Saudi invasion of another country. We do have an intimate relationship with the Saudis, and for that we get oil in return for our abject acceptance of their highly repressive political setup. With Israel we go much further by whitewashing Israeli atrocities outside Israel -- both in the illegally occupied lands next to Israel as well as in our countries.
