That wouldn't make any sense to me - that's not a two-bites at the cherry situation.

Strictly speaking this is two bites at the apple because a trial could hit either non-inferiority or superiority without hitting the other. In practice, hitting on superiority while missing on non-inferiority is rare, but it can happen.

A protocol where the aggregate 0.05 of p-value in split in half for each endpoint is fairly common.
