Hey Tuck, I listened to the last CC for Ciphergen. They no longer even discuss quarterly results or guidance just mainly talk about their focus is now on developing diagnostic tests. Gail Page mentioned that Quest was happy with the progress they are making on this Ovarian Cancer diagnostic test and she spoke a little about a diagnostic test for Prostate Cancer. They mentioned about their substantial reduction in cash burn and their employee count being around 45 people. I'm hearing that this $20 million (instrument sale)should last them over 2 years with this latest restructuring. This stock is definitely off everyones radar screen as their weren't any questions from analysts on the call. Think of the impact on the stock price as most funds have dumped the stock the past 18 months due to poor performance and risk of delisting and index removal? Insiders still holding, last sale Bill Rich Dec 2004 150k shares @ $3.80. He still holds over 900,000 shares. Insiders actually own a fair chunk of stock and the last report regarding short interest for Aug 15 was only 112,500 shares. I guess that is why I'm holding over 35k shares at these levels.
