That Zumbrunnen clown really does have a hard time biting his tongue, doesn't he. That post went through a LOT of editing before reaching its final submitted version. I was reading quite a bit of that board last night (seemed a good place to test the site's performance on dialup) and couldn't help but feel like it was "deja vu, all over again". Lots of posts by people saying things like (paraphrased) "The bashers are out in full force, which means they're desperate and great things are around the corner." I've seen it more times than I can count. And it's a death knell. SI is littered with long-dead boards where people were saying the exact same thing. The pattern is so strikingly similar each time that one has to wonder whether it's the same people over and over (which would mean they're dumping into their own hype -- mere cheerleaders wouldn't survive financially) or whether it's living proof of the statement attributed to PT Barnum and should be followed with "... and they're all being minted from the same mold."
