Based on what I see, I think google payments is taking the business market for things like paying akamai for hosting or paying some other web service firm for reports etc. Paypal never had this market. If you google akamai, depending on when you run the query you will see a bunch of google checkout paid listings. Its just obvious that G checkout would get this business that webmasters need. But on the consumer to consumer, shipped retail business google has far less traction, that is paypals to lose.
