no I meant online mode for outlook. We have it at one of the companies I consult with and it is really clunky and painful.

The offline mode is fine, thats the standard mode. I don't mean the pop3 access. I am talking about the webmail client.

When you log in to outlook ON THE WEB, without outlook installed on your machine. Writely vs. web client outlook is probably no contest (writely wins).

The recent msft tools which allow working offline and then UPLOADING to the web seem like a good idea and better than google.
