Matthew Diamond Multimedia-2: Oppenheimer Sees '97 Loss $1.42/Share NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Oppenheimer & Co. initiated coverage of Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. (DIMD) with an outperform rating. In a research note, the firm said it estimates Diamond Multimedia will post a loss of $1.42 a share in 1997 and earn 55 cents a share in 1998 and 70 cents a share in 1999.
