As an infamous young woman said, "He would say that wouldn't he". The words were obviously included because somebody, maybe QCOM, didn't "disclose" something or other, and so on. It became a problem. So they wanted to make people say all they knew. Or maybe it was to get out of a situation in which they found themselves. I'm watching this very big space with interest. When I nicknamed ETSI "SETI" in the 1990s, I didn't realize just how accurate the nickname was. They really were hunter-gatherers after some extra-TDMA intelligence and found it [as I suspected at the time, in QCOM's patent portfolio]. They have been sliming away for a decade. The Shakespearian denouement is arriving. There should be much screaming and wailing and gnashing of teeth and wielding of sword. Mqurice
