I am leery of Lemming too after those last two crummy French flicks. Gabrielle is fading fast from my memory now. Not fast enough. We used to say the French are better at making movies for grownups... but I can now say they put out their share of clinkers too.. Different from the American clinkers however. The Illusionist opens here this week.. we'll probably go see that. Ed Norton is such a good actor. Tastes certainly do vary, though. I thought 'Brothers', a Danish film was very good, but some friends hated it. The difference probably is that I was in the military and shared some of the experiences of the characters. We do bring our own backgrounds and baggage into movies..
