As a Q shareholder, I'm going to be disappointed if Q doesn't get some compensation for their IP in GSM. I'm not too particular about the form it takes, but if the status quo is all they get (i.e. full CDMA/WCDMA royalties with none from standalone GSM), I'll feel swindled. Even if Nokia has some IPR applicable to DO, I can't believe it's any more valuable than what they have in WCDMA...where they pay "full" royalties.

What I fear is that Q will appease them for patent peace, withdrawal of the EC complaint, and the prospect of gaining them as a chip customer. As a shareholder, I don't want prospects, I would want any chip deal to be part of the settlement. But whatever falls out, I want Q to emerge with more than they went in with. Breaking even will be a big disappointment. Not to mention coming out with less.
