I like simple stocks-lol. Some of these guys figure out real complicated stocks. And my hat is off to them, but I just try to figure out, more or less, if the run, or breakout, of a stock is based on fundamental reasons-lol.
Then I buy. Sort of like taking samples to determine a population without counting the whole population-lol.
And finding people who I know have done their homework and just ride on their knowledge-lol. Lots of good stock pickers here.
Charters was right on about ROK. That has been a screamer and not nearly enough attention is being paid to it on this thread-lol.
EVA had a couple of good ones.
Lone clone and John figure a lot fo the stocks out well.
And then there are guys like max, metacomet and jack that we have to sort of pull the information out of-lol.
Of all the stock pickers on this thread, Max may be the real chamkp. I know a bunch of his holdings and they are among the best movers.
Claude is a given, RR is a tornado, gwr of ECU fame, picked ECU, IZN, FNI, Falcon oil and UC, I think.
Onepath and marcos know the terraine well, so I do not really need to do much work-lol. |
