Yep! Look at the TagTeam NYT, AOL an AP have on AOL front page today: The Dems have their talking points in order, I see... (a friend used to say this when appropriate, and it is appropriate here...." It's enough to gag a maggot"....)

The idiot branch of the MSM again manipulates the news!!

On AOL NEWS today, and listed as: The Daily Pulse - August 28, 2006

Which should be Bush's Top Priority: Poll results

2- War in Iraq
2 -War on Terror
4- Disaster preparedness

My answers
1- War on terror
2 - War in Iraq
3 - Economy
4 - Disaster Preparedness

Take a look back at Bush's handling of the Katrina disaster.

[KLP Note: They insert pictures of GWB here, and nothing about what ELSE he was doing those days...]

Sources: AP, nytimes.com, whitehouse.gov

Aug. 29, 2005: President Bush, while on vacation, speaks at a Medicare event in Arizona as Hurricane Katrina makes landfall.

Aug. 30: Bush speaks on the 60th anniversary of V-J Day at a naval air station in San Diego, saying "our ... prayers are with our fellow citizens along the Gulf Coast."

Aug. 31: After cutting his vacation short, Bush looks over the devastation from the storm as he heads back to Washington from his Crawford ranch on Air Force One.

Sept. 1: Back at the White House, Bush announces former Presidents Bush and Clinton will lead a fundraising effort to help the storm's victims.

Sept. 15: The president addresses the nation from Jackson Square in New Orleans, promising "this great city will rise again."

Oct. 11: Bush helps workers at a Habitat for Humanity building project in Louisiana on a visit to the region.
March 8: The president tours the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, one of the hardest hit areas of the city. He has now made 13 visits to the region since Katrina hit.

President Bush returned to the Gulf Coast Monday, marking the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. But questions linger about how he handled the disaster a year ago. His approval rating, which hovered at around 45 percent when the storm hit, has since dipped to a low of 31 and now stands at 42 percent. How much confidence do you have in him, and will the Katrina response have a lasting impact on him?
