Yes, H2O is another greenhouse gas. So is methane. Which is why we should keep an eye on the chlathrates.

True. But the times when the CO2 concentration was higher, global temperatures were also higher. So I don't really see what your point here is.

There hasn't been a huge upswing in volcanic activity, as has occurred in the past. Nor has there been a massive drying of bogs, upwelling of bottom water or any changes in the carbon sinks other than massive deforestation and burning of fossil fuels. The source isn't all that hard to locate.
