Sold a little GI on buyout, bought a little more VLO today. Of the independent refiners that I follow, VLO has the lowest forward p/e (according to Yahoo). 7.7x. That's low enough for me to add a few more shares. I've no opinion regarding prospects for crack spreads or sour crude. I just hope VLO can continue its profitable ways.
