Rumsfeld is right...but he needs to add the Teachers Unions as well as the Media as part of the cause. As you know, I've mentioned many times here, that if students and new Americans don't know our History and WHY things were done, (or not done) as the case might be,) we will continue "getting what we are getting, and perhaps worse...." We need to ask, each one of us, exactly how many hours are devoted to American History during the ENTIRE twelve years the children are in school... "But some seem not to have learned history's lessons," he said, adding that part of the problem is that the American news media have tended to emphasize the negative rather than the positive.
