In the ASND release about UUNET purchase today, there was no dollar value specified for the order. Is it because as someone mentioned yesterday that the equipment is probably very heavily discounted and ASND does not want to show the urgency in their press release so they dropped the dollar figure? If the equipment were not discounted then they could have proudly included the dollar figure (or could that be there are additional clauses not mentionable there?). Solomn at least gave an estimate of the order. This could possibly be the reason the news is not very warmly accepted plus the fact that it was pre-empted. As someone mentioned, it could have had a better impact if released yesterday because today te pop gave only a better opportunity to short the stock again.
