Of course Rumsfeld is right. And so are you.

I spent my entire career in education. I learned early in the game that the teachers' unions are not interested in education. They are only interested in gaining and asserting power on behalf, not of their rank and file membership, but on behalf of those who have managed to scramble to the top of union leadership.

The education of the young to the unions is merely a mass standing between them and control. It is control that they are after. Too Hell with the mass. But make sure you use that mass as fodder to fuel and enflame your cause.
