Rove is guilty. He was to be indicted for perjury. He did lie. Everyone knows that. He slithered off the hook by saying "I forgot", a very clumsy excuse. He also probably used every bit of power he and Bush had to make Fitzgerald cool it. Fitzgerald is be tough, but he's also a Republican. Rove was guilty and is still guilty. Also guilty of much bigger crimes, like stealing elections.

But no Rove was not the original leaker of the CIA agent's identity. That came from Cheney's office with the connection of Armitage.

BTW, this case is bad, but not the worst for Bushies. That is yet to come.
