Actually I am asking the questions I think would be asked by both sides before either side could be asked to decide. Israelis would require many of these questions be answered before they made a decision, partly so that they knew they would not be slaughtered by Palestinians. Even a small move requires a huge amount of information, and you are talking about Israelis giving up Israel. Do you think Americans faced with Unhappy natives would give up control of the US without a lot of information? So why should israelis give up control or even offer to do so without knowing what the goal of the exercise was? So instead of saying, oh that is something we can deal with later, deal with it now, so that everyone knows what is going to be done. Once Israelis start this process, it would not be possible to turn back. So the Israelis are being asked to give up a huge amount, most of which will only benefit the people who have been killing them for 60 years. palestinians are only giving up poverty and murder, not a huge sacrifice.
