WRT inflation, a year ago here in Portland, August 2005, I paid $3.00 for gasoline at the pump. Yesterday I paid $2.85. I also expect to pay a whole lot less to heat with natural gas this winter than I paid last winter. I also saw a reduction in my property tax as would have you if you don't have an abatement. You can also still buy one heck of a great burrito at Cha Cha Cha for $4.00 to eat while watching a rented movie that continues to get cheaper and with better terms at Blockbuster.

I'm starting to sound like Mish -g-
