"It wasn't a matter of government policy to support or arm Saddam." was highly specific.

Laboratory supply companies selling e coli and other bacteria to Iraq wasn't a matter of American policy to arm Iraq. It just was the normal operation of these companies. It reflects the fact that at the time we had little or no sanctions imposed on trade with Iraq. Where you arguing for imposing sanctions against Iraq before they invaded Kuwait? If so you where part of a very small minority.

To address the larger issue of arms sales to Iraq, yes the US government did approve arms sales to Iraq. The arms sales represented about 1% of Iraq's arms imports.

You don't know anything but instead of doing your homework, you're dragging along your little wikipedia crib notes and complaining (you owe me a dollar) about form.

What's frustrating about debating you is that you pretend to argue for one thing, while actually providing an argument for something else. Then you don't develop your argument but suggest the person you are arguing with look up facts, even though 1 - I am already informed about the facts, 2 - Its your responsibility to support your argument with facts, not my responsibility to do that job for you, and most importantly 3 - No collection of facts amounts to an argument.

As for not knowing anything counting a biological supply companies sale of very common bacteria to Iraq as proof that the US government had a policy of supporting Iraq's efforts to get bio weapons displays a great deal of either ignorance or dishonesty.
