** OT ** No inflation my ass, department.

I just got a call from the house insurer informing me my house in underinsured as to replacement cost. They want to raise the premiums up by 50% to make up the deficit.

I guess the CPI people don't put things like THAT into their calculations, but stuff like this must eventually filter through to rental rates nd such.
