Call this a conspiracy but I almost get the impression the plunge protection team is trying to keep the large financial institutions afloat as long as possible so the leadership could get passed to other lagging groups in order to keep the major indices at high levels. Passing the torch from Bank America, JP Morgan, Citicorp and Wells Fargo to Microsoft, Pfizer, AIG and Intel when the time is right?
