This is not a poem but an incident that could lead to someone making a poem.

A yellow Finch (beautiful bird) hit my window this morning. I have a feeder off the deck and he lost his navigational skills for a second. He was flat on his back when I went downstairs having heard the THUMP... I got a small towel and picked him up. His head was not broken but his little beak kept opening and closing and he was prostrate...

I put a call in to my neighbor who has healing hands. She does have energy in them and does axial tonal work on humans..

She came over and held him in her hands. She stroked his head as his eyes would open and close.

I had to leave for an appointment so I left the yellow bird in her hands. When I got home she said she gave him energy for about 30 minutes.. HE showed some life although he lay sleeping for that period of time. Then he pooped in her hand and turned his head and looked at her as if to say, sorry.

She gave him permission to leave and opened her hands and he flew off... to a tree where he sat and looked back at her.

WE all felt to good about this. In a world of chaos and
killing it's so great to save a life, even if it is a mere bird. LIFE IS PRECIOUS..
