Nonsense is right, Bush has given several speeches where he's tied 9-11 to the war in Iraq. It's a fact that cannot be denied, except by BLS inflicted idiots like yourself.

Bush said Saddam was an ally of Al Qaeda. He said Allies of Al Qaeda were equally guilty of terrorist crimes. And then we hit Iraq.

1-2-3. Speech after speech tying the war in Iraq to the events of 9-11.

7 out of 10 Americans believed that Iraq was responsible. That was directly due to the President's and Vice President's speeches, in which time after time they spoke of Iraq's complicity with Al Qaeda. That alliance has been shown to be far less than the alliance between Saddam and the US was right up to the time of the invasion. Lies, distortions and omissions. Perversions of the truth.
