I am bullish on the USD only to the extent that I get the USD from shorting US domestic oriented shares. I believe the USD and US shares will both go down, but my shorting US shares is one trade, paired with long USD that resulted from such shorts. At some point I may decide to do something with the USD thus obtained, but perhaps only after I am covered.
