All this buying we have seen in the last two days is being done by someone acting on something other than rumor. Unlike the accumulation of last week which was somewhat orderly, yesterday and today's buying has a certain frantic quality to it that suggests "hostile". Someone seems to have a target price for AIPN and is intent on buying as much stock as possible anywhere below that price. Is it an oil company? I think so. What would their "target price" be? Well, above these levels. Is the buyer pouring money into AIPN stock in response to rumors? Doubtful.
It is also noteworthy that Millennium has, for the second time in two weeks, solicited additions to its FAX list. This tells me that they know a big announcement is imminent and want to distribute it as widely as possible. When will that announcement come? Well, I have often complained to Millennium about the scheduling of their press releases which I think would be more effective on a Wednesday mid-morning, but it seems George Faris prefers Monday's. Note: the last two releases were on a Monday. Prediction: news release next Monday AM.

Cheers...Faris

PS Normally I would agree that a period of consolidation has to take place. However, this strikes me as a somewhat "special" situation for reasons previously stated. Also, remember, MUSP gets at least $7 million in additional AIPN stock if the shares trade above $5 for 5 consecutive days....My prediction: we stay here or go higher for at least the next 5 trading days. AIPN made upper half of the "largest percentage gainers" in this morning's Wall Street Journal.
