You can also get a liberal drunk, but you can still not get him to agree to what makes common sense. This is the final litmus test that he is a liberal from birth and not just faking it. Drunk they still lie like rugs and even more fervently believe in the tooth fairy and other liberal spirits. You will never get a liberal to say that he doubts the existence of god, even when the truth drug wine is used liberally. He sees God whenever he looks in the mirror.
A radical will admit flaws in his outlook when totally stoned, but will say it does not matter, because seizing power is all that counts. Goebbels admitted that when he was in power, (that they did not have to be democratic after election (drunk with power), ergo they were probably wrong in their outlook as no one would support it ...)
The large L liberals in Canada used to say semi-privately that the opposition parties were a nuisance, and also wrong about everything. They also flaunted their subliminal persuasion techniques discovered in the 1930's by clinical psychologist and used successfully by Hitler and Goebbels and subsequently by many advertising agencies (The Hidden Persuaders, Packard) and blatantly ran campaigns that used promises that they semi-privately told their campaign insiders and candidates they did not have to keep. It is a matter of record that in 40 years not ONE liberal campaign promise was ever kept. I am not kidding about that. Look it up. They had no intention. I am not kidding about that either. It is in their "secret" red book. "Make lots of promises.. it wins elections.."
People think I am over the top comparing the Liberals in Canada with the Nazi party. The Liberals don't hate races. They love anyone who can vote. It is reverse psychology hypocrisy. I will give them credit for being smarter than Goebbels and Hitler. The 62 per cent of the vote that Hitler did not get that would have been a majority was the people who did not trust him. The Liberals know they need that vote, so they cuddle up to everybody. Ok. they are not that stupid. But honest? I am not sure you can be totally honest and be liked by everybody, even a majority. Probably not possible. But methodologies for getting their way? Pure Nazi power mentality, motherhood rabble rousing, and mass-suasion techniques. The big lie.
I have to admit, being an honest conservative that the cons and the neo cons use these techniques too. I suspect it hurts them to do that. The liberals get high doing it. A Liberal will leave his mistress's house at night, go to the bank to steal from his business partner's account, have a meeting with a gangster to stuff ballot boxes on a referendum that evening pushing a paper bag of cash to him at a mobster restaurant, and give a speech the next day about honesty in office with a tear in his eye.. and still snooze the sleep of the dead each and every night.. he does not even see the irony in it.. even when caught red handed.. "the conservatives and sepratistes made me do it", he cries.. "I am a good man"..
Good man, bad methods, no conscience.. so in a way was Al Capone.. only difference is Al Capone told fewer lies.
The standard approach after they had stuffed enough ballot boxes to get elected, was to say that they could not keep the promises as "the cupboard was bare" (i.e. the opposition parties had not left them enough money to carry them out, i.e. they had lied about finances..) After 10 elections of this type and the standard lie being trotted out for not cancelling the GST etcetra etcetera.. one begins to wonder when the voter is going to catch on.. i.e. these people know they are lying.. but the voter never catches on. He believes in the Santa Clause in the constitution too.
