was one of so many unfortunate reminders that we murdered millions of innocent Vietnamese civilians We did no such thing. Tim I suggest you read Tim O'Brien's books on Viet Nam. He was there. I have read three so far... WHAT THEY CARRIED. If I DIE.... etc. Everyone of them deal with atrocities committed by our troops.. I am reading the fourth right now. Everyone of them explains why young 19 year olds, scared to death, trusting no one tended to kill anyone in any village, even those who helped them. It really paints a true picture of what war is like.. To deny that we didn't killed innocent Vietnamese civilians is naive and incorrect. By the way, I am a Viet Nam buff and have read almost everything that has been written.
