To get the ball rolling you need a sadat to jerusalem moment. But in this case, I think the israelis may have to play the role of sadat as hard as that would be. We may all be overrating the recent comments by the hamas guy---for all we know, Hamas may be just trying to buy time to stock up in weaponry like hizbolla did. Its the israelis who should seek to find this out by organizing some sort of meeting with Abbas and the Hamas PM to begin to settle outstanding issues.
