Gary spoken as a true short ( which I suspect you are ,even though you may not know it;maybe some deep psychoanalysis will unlock the true Id). After I sold Vivus 2 1/2 months ago I was 100% in cash;AND I did look long and hard AND I..did find a great stock:Vivus! AND Vivus did go down from 32 to 29, 27, 26.5 AND I started buying at 26.5 while you said " don't buy", remember? and I bought more at 25, 24.4 all the way down to 23.7!!! with average price of 25 !! You never told us at what price you boght it back!!? I am now up 11 points, 40%! The market, well I don't think anybody knows what will happen. But one thing that I have learned as a scientist ( and I hope that you learned it too as a dental surgeon ), is to never disregard the objective evidence ( which is what Barr-ons did for 2 years!! This is not the time to go into an analysis in the outlook of the economy but Barrons has been backpedalling the last 2 months and they have had at least 2 ecxellent articles on it: One by E Yardeni was a front page article " " Doe of 25000? " I think it was titled.The other one wass ome on technology. If you are really interested I will dig them up because I save Barrons past issues. ( Not everybody is wrong at Barons thank goodness. TA
