re: Meanwhile Brian Williams is a strange dude. He looks he belongs on some British debating club and not a tv news desk .....yet, I think he's turning out to be a great anchor. Last summer after Katrina, I believe he was the first and only anchor of the big four to start broadcasting from New Orleans. It was he who began demanding that the feds do something. And there is not a week that goes by since when he doesn't bring up NO and the Gulf Coast and the current status of its recovery. I have really grown to respect his work.

And the 360 guy at CNN. It seems like these guys said to themselves "this is not business as usual, I'm not going to play the 'next news cycle' game, I'm not going to let this go away". Good for them.

Of course most of the news media is ignoring Iraq... the biggest story of our little time window.
