Dan, As I've mentioned before, I invest for myself for a living and the forums here and on Prodigy provide me with a lot of info and psychological insight I can't get anywhere else. As a contrarian, I bet against the herd and to bet against them, you have to figure out what they are doing and why they are doing it. Also, I can tell them exactly what I am doing and, since it is usually counter to what the gurus say to do, rest assured they won't bust my prices. In other words, I can share what I know with the assurance that the majority won't believe it. I would rather have a forum where all the fund managers bare their souls, as I consider them the ultimate herd, but no such animal exists. And the one skill I have developed is fast typing. MY parents realized early on I wasn't handy and since I'd have to make money doing something white collar, they insisted that I take typing courses to help me in high school and college. Not only was that a great idea, but I can always be a secretary/steno if the herd is ever right. -G- I will look at the Iomega thread and see what Wiz has to say. I haven't paid much attention to it since they cut prices, as I consider that the first bit of fundamental bloodletting they will have to endure. I don't like to hang out during the bad times, though I like the management too much to short it. MB
