Dale and all,

Dale, Your uncharacteristic ridiculing of TB is not in keeping with your usual well-reasoned posts. He is obviously a physician, and his 2 rather knowledgable posts dont leave much doubt that he is a urologist--just disregard the $400 prophecy--that doesn't invalidate everything he posted. I wonder if your angry-sounding responses dont indicate that you have blinders on to the long side--and one wearing blinders runs the risk of being blind-sided!

"" I have shorted VVUS 3 times for a total
profit of 17 points

--so dont mistake me for a long. (GGGGGGG TUNA,9-25-97)

However, at this juncture, the risk-reward ratio for a short is poor.
The call-put ratio for all June options is an extremely high 5.4 to 1;
for ALL open options from May to Dec the call-put ratio is 4-1. This
should be a danger signal to any short. Round numbers tend to be strong support or resistance levels, i.e. 30, 40 ,50. Charts show a significant support at 30 going back to January 96. VVUS is extremely oversold now, more than in early April when it ran from $40-50. With the enormous short position in VVUS, if a large percentage of shorts try to head for the exit doors at the same time, there will be a painful SELF-INFLICTED short squeeze. This could happen any day. I am confident enough of this probability that I looked at options yesterday expecting to be able to buy calls cheap--and found them to carry a huge premium--too much for me. I am still considering buying the stock from a purely technical standpoint, but don't know if I have the guts to buy a stock in such a protracted downtrend.

For all except Dale (who already knows this) tunica albugenia is the
membrane enclosing the corpora cavernosa--the vascular tissue that fills with blood upon penile erection. Still think TB isn't a
urologist--allbeit with a different opinion? I know the Chief of Urology at UVA Med Center (University of Virginia Medical School)--I'll try to call her tomorrow and get her thoughts--she is purported to be one of the best surgeons in this area for prostheses/implants, surgical treatment of Peyronie's disease, etc.
Dale, do you think Caverject injected on the scarred side could
temporarily straighten out a Peyronie's problem?<gg>

Sincerely, Dale, consider the longs on threads like ZITL and IOM--do we want to get so fixated on the decline of VVUS that we disregard any
contrary opinion?

Regards,
Gary

There you go Gary, in case YOU forgot it buddy.But don't wworry; you forgrt ,a and Tuna rides to the rescue!!ggg! Hi- HO - Silver !!
