The rightwing needs to stop hijacking religion. The rightwing supports many hugely anti-Christian policies. They call themselves "the party of life" or Christ yet time after time vote and lobby to wage wars, take from the poor and give to the rich, glorify materialism, make more and more weapons, pollute the environment, support big tobacco, do away with product liability, seek revenge, bear false witness against others, cut down forests, deny poor people health care, gouge everyone on health care, deny AIDS drugs to those who use condoms and birth control, on and on.
They say they care about the "unborn" (fertilized eggs) but they are against sex education and birth control so that creates more unwanted pregnancies.
In short, christ would not approve of today's Bushie rightwing. Not at all. |
