Well if their goals were to get bogged down in an occupation with no end in sight then I guess we have accomplished our objectives.

Look, I was not against this war, the government had a blank check as far as I was concerned after 9/11. But they BLEW IT!
Yes we invaded, yes we took out Saddam, so what? We have no control at all, no safety, and no end in the foreseeable future. How is that winning? Currently we are losing this war...period. And furthermore, if someday there is a stable Iraq but it cost a trillion dollars, 100,000 (American)lives, sank our economy, and took 25 years, did we win?
