The reason for the price movements we are seeing is because a lot of small orders are being filled. The MM's always jump the price up for small trades at the market and knock it down for small sells. Many times the high or low for the day is a 100 share trade. This creates a chart that is not a true reflection of the trading. Look at a TS for AVNT and you will see these extremes.
