WRONG INTERPRETATION!

Martin was not pro-American. Martin agreed to Canadian participation not for the sake of sabotaging Harper. His agreement to Canadian troops participation in a NATO peace-keeping mission was sheer tokenism, Besides, this was befitting for a western ally. Don't forget that Martin had hoped till the last moment his Party would win the re-election.

On the contrary, Harper is a yesman to Bush. He seems hell-bent on supporting Bush apparently for the sake of survival of his term in government. Hence Canadian troops are still there.

For your info, Harper had worked for American interests in Calgary, Alberta, for several years and, it is not surprising that he is enured to the idea that his bread is buttered on the American side. He reminds me of one Canadian who is a compulsive American ass-kisser, boot-licker and suck-holer on SI who believes that Canadians should be as sheeple, just like the sheep on his farm, following and obeying the Greatest Shepherd of all time ---- George W. Bush !!!
