Ace,

Earnings will be a blowout. With all the noise that CPQ's management has been making I wouldn't expect anything less.

Question is how much of a blowout and can they beat the "whisper" numbers.

The current 12-month target prices are a joke. I think those number are so low so that CPQ doesn't rise too fast and anal-ysts can manipulate the stock.

You'll see continued volatility going into October. I expect at least one more company to issue a warning before the end of the month (I don't know which company), this will give MM's the volatility they need to generate comissions and the "Big Boys" the entry price they need.

Either that or the usual BS "inflation worries" will be drummed up again.

However once the month ends, fasten your seat belts and get ready for lift-off.
