So ya have to indict him first, then win the house and senate, then start impeachment against Bush, then get the senate to convict, then make sure cheney is guilty, which will be hard to prove to anyone but you, then Pelosi can be in charge. But while you are doing this, Cheney will resign and Bush will appoint a new VP. The VP will be confirmed because Cheney will resign before the house changes hands.

Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

Nah, I think you are gonna have to wait to an election and actually put forth a platform of some type and see if people will elect a monday morning quarterback Dem into a leadership position. For me, there's no way, no way, anyone you would endorse would get my vote. You taint all that you touch.
