(NASDAQ:ALAN) Thursday announced that its Fry Guy division has begun installation of its Integrated Food Services Marketing Program in Mann Theatres with initial installations in the Denver market and Southern California.
``Motion picture theaters are a new venue with enormous potential for the Fry Guy program,'' said Edward Maley, president of Fry Guy Inc. ``We began with three theaters in metropolitan Denver and four in California with an average of two Fry Guy units per theater. The results have been very positive, so we will begin adding more theaters right away.''
Mann Theatres operates more than 60 state-of-the-art motion picture theaters in the western United States, primarily in Colorado and California.

The convenience of the Fry Guy food program and the high quality Sgt. Fry foods have enabled Mann Theatres to provide a new dimension of enjoyment and service to our customers. The Fry Guy proprietary, private label SGT. FRY menu items being offered in Mann Theatres include french fries, onion rings, chicken fries, chicken tenders and cheese sticks.
Alanco also announced the establishment of a working capital line of credit. Dennis Schlegel, chairman and chief executive officer of Alanco, said, ``This new credit line demonstrates the tremendous progress Alanco has made in our core business. Nothing is a greater endorsement of our business than the willingness of a financial institution to undertake a due diligence review and provide additional capital.''
The Fry Guy Integrated Food Services Marketing Program supplies a patented, self-ventilating fryer in a convenient counter top unit that requires little shelf space and operates on 110-volt power.
Under the private label SGT. FRY, Fry Guy provides end users the finest quality finger food products in conjunction with prominent food suppliers as its strategic partners. These include Tyson Foods, Anchor Foods, and the Lamb Weston division of Beatrice Foods, with cooking oil provided by Cargill.
