I really like Jefferson Airplane (I was with them starting with their first, pre-Grace Slick album). And they were really good live. Just don't find myself listening to them much, anymore.

Baxter's was my favorite album of theirs -- I should give it a spin (and I use that word advisedly -- I have it only on vinyl).

Nearly 40 years ago, I wasn't sure I was right in my assesment that Pet Sounds was the best album in rock history. Now I'm more confident about it, and not so alone in my judgement (it's hard to find a musicians' or critics' poll where Pet Sounds isn't in the top 3).
